Cedric Abboud is the founder of Urban Capital Group, a New York–based firm focused on ground-up development and the adaptive reuse of architecturally distinctive properties. The firm oversees every phase of a project, from land assemblage, acquisition through design, and construction.
Over the course of his career, Cedric has delivered projects alongside leading architects and engineers including Foster + Partners, Gensler, Perkins&Will and Arup, as well as top-tier builders including Turner and Structure Tone. He previously worked in Buildings & Construction at JLL and led SOMA’s design-build division. He holds graduate degrees from Columbia University and the University of London.
His flagship project, 32 Walker, is a collection of full-floor residences and a duplex penthouse on a site assembled from legacy parcels within the Tribeca landmark district. Co-developed with Prosper Property Group and designed by SOMA and The Turett Collaborative, with Marc Dibeh as interior creative director, the project combines restored historic cast-iron facades with new natural limestone construction, and interiors featuring Molteni kitchens, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, Waterworks fixtures, natural stone and XAL lighting. The development is on track to sell out above $60 million, with pricing exceeding $3,000 per square foot and $10 million per residence, setting new benchmarks for boutique new development in East Tribeca.
Urban Capital Group is currently working on a $100 million-plus luxury boutique project in prime New York, part of a growing pipeline of residential and hospitality projects in New York and internationally, with projects launching from 2027.
